was reading on the inter webs an observation that made sense (and I forgot to write down the link). Kim waited for a long time popping this rocket off - the question is why. For the past month or so we had 2 - 3 Carrier battle groups off his east coast. Two of the carrier groups have left the area, leaving just one. Did the presence of that much firepower cause him to pucker up too much and wait?

From what I understand Fatboy was required to refrain for at least 60 days before the Chinese would meet with him ....he met that and so they did meet with ‘officials’ but not FatBoy directly... therefore the meetings were not successful. Once that was over then of course he proceeded to fire his missle this week.
His entire agenda now is buying time....so far we’re everyone is dancing to his tune.....but you can be certain it won’t continue as so.
