Hi there! I think so too. My husband and I decided to apply for the adoption today. The rescue already contacted my 2 personal references this evening, and can talk to our vet tomorrow. I think we will be accepted, and able to visit him soon. Of course it is likely that once you see a puppy, he comes home with you. It has been 12 years since we adopted a puppy. The last 3 dogs have been adult rescue dogs. We have all the stuff needed, just need the puppy and puppy chow,,then just add the Love! Hee Hee. It will be fun. Our 3 year old dog will enjoy having another dog to play with.
