Animals have a way of “acting normal” when they are being “observed,” no matter how bad they feel. They just want to please us. And I think Shannon is no different.
I don’t know what I’ll do today. I’d like to so something different, but I don’t even have a clue what that could be. Actually, I just want to be warm!
So I’ll do the dishes and take the trash out. I vacuumed yesterday, but only the living room has a rug, and since I have no Wet-Jet pads, I couldn’t do the rest of the floors. The rug was dirty, but the tile is really dirty. So I’ll just ignore it until payday. It’s what I do! LOL!
Maybe I can dust, while I’m ignoring the floors. My eyes will be on other things, and I’m sure most of them are dusty!
We took our Christmas decorations down yesterday, except for the wreath on the door. Maybe I’ll have time to mop the kitchen before the choir comes over. It’s sticky.
I let Shannon go outside, since she’s doing so much better, but she’s back already. It was the principle of the thing, not that she really had anything important to do outside.
Tom the Mocker is doing his “Jake! Jake!” call, so I expect Jake will come in shortly. He can open the screen himself.
The girls are planning a camping trip for tomorrow, but the current weather forecast isn’t very nice. This happened the last time, too, when Elen was going to go backpacking with Addie.
