Here's the travel map in case you want to catch the trains.
And here's the schedule up to the closing day if you want to/can catch a show.
Beautiful coat on that kitteh. And the expression sez, “And you disturbed me WHY?”
Yep like that.
35 degrees, SE @ 3 mph, 48% Rain later today. Ungh. The bathroom is warming up. I did NOT want to get out of bed.
My alarm went off, so I got up. Cats were fighting last night.
I woke up two minutes before my alarm rang. I wouldn’t have set it, but I want a shower and if I sleep past 0400, it throws everything into chaos for the rest of the day.
Metro honored another officer, yesterday. He was only a 10 year veteran, but the showing of police officers from around the state was awesome. When they announced “End of Watch” for him, I was close to tears. And this was just a blurb on the news. I would never have been able to attend in person.
Welp. Off to the shower. See ya in 20 minutes!
Gary Larsen always cracked me up.
Oh, body trauma. I was trying to figure out why autumn would have caused someone to take a turn for the worse.
I am sorry for your loss.
Without elephants, of course. That's apparently one of the reasons ticket sales plummeted.
I’ve lost a sister and a brother; both were old enough to be my parents when I made my entry into the world. They were adults before I ever knew them and as a result, they were mostly strangers.
I tried to get close to my brother but he resented me — guilt by association, because “my dad took his mother away from his dad.” And it doesn’t matter that I was still seven or eight years away from coming to Earth. He died of pancreatic cancer many years later.
My sister, I had better luck knowing. We pretty much bonded on her birthday in 1980, and were friends until she died. But we were not “close friends.” And she died in her sleep a few years ago.
So I’m always empathetic when people lose a family member, no matter how close or far apart they were.
Someone left a steamed-up bathroom outside my door. But I’m going out in it; I ain’t afraid of no bath.
Water never hurt a man. It keeps his hide from cracking.
Obscure quote from something I read in high school.
My brems are full of useless stuff like that.
I have a Department of Useless Information in my brems where I store arcane and little known facts. I bring them out at odd and inappropriate times for the shock and scintillation of those who might be listening.
Sometimes, I get that “Ehhh?” Tim Taylor look and voice from those who have heard me. Others just wander off, shaking their heads.
My brother and I are not close, but we are much friendlier than Mom and Aunt Ruth were.
Kathleen was asking me if she has cousins, and she does, but they are all at least 20 years older than she is.
Good morning!
I thought my siblings and I were close, but as time goes by, I see it was just a show. But that’s OK. I still love them.
Of course, my brother with dementia is exempted from caring in any meaningful manner.
*sheesh*
I didn’t wait for the mail yesterday, so I just went out to get it. I got billed from the lab that told me in December that there was “no co-pay” for the blood draw the doctor ordered.
The two phone numbers on the bill are for payment options, so I couldn’t speak to a person. I wrote a note on the statement and put it in the envelope they so generously provided, and will put it in today’s mail.
Charlie has a recertification appointment today and then he will stay for the manager’s meeting so unless I go up for that at 1000, I won’t see him.
It’s still only 35 degrees out. :o|
What?
Anybody?
