I can see why you might think that, but it takes more than a week for ham-and-pea to turn into cement.

The brownies are awaiting the frosting. Does anyone want a big slab of frosting-covered brownie? I mean, besides me? ;o]

"Great poem Bob." Glenn Beck was just saying, as a guest on Tucker's show, that "fame is corrosive".
I agree. A good shield against that is modesty. I have confidence in my modesty because I know me better than anyone else does.

This is Tuesday and I’m cold, even though it’s 56 degrees. Winds are the Order of the Day, and for tomorrow as well. Gusting up to 40+mph. Unngh...
My last day to open, and Zeke will be there, doing his laundry, and waiting for me so he can tell me all about Chuck.

Good morning. It’s cold here, too. I hope you get some good news about Chuck!

I may finish with this small bookcase today, but what I really need is a place to put the boxes so they are out of my way.
Maybe I’ll work on the linen closet, instead, and make another donation to the thrift store.
Charlie won’t be here, so I won’t go sit out. At least not for long, especially if the wind is blowing. I might go to the thrift store to see if they have any dining chairs.
I asked for some on freecycle.org and the only response I got was from a guy who had “four for a small donation?” I sent his reply to the mods. Asking for a donation is an absolute no-no.
Anyway, I’m outta here.

Zeke said Chuck is doing much better, and wants Zeke to “bust me outta here!”
I told Zeke to check with the place and see if they have Wi-Fi for the patients, and if so, I will set up Chuck’s new laptop (got it Thursday, and the stroke on Saturday) and at least Chuck can do his sports betting. That should give him some incentive to get on with his healing processes.
It would be nice if I could go to IHOP for breakfast. It’s been a long time since I did that, but will have to wait. Maybe next payday. Maybe.
