According to a report on TMZ, the 84-year-old Ms. Reynolds was rushed to the hospital from the Beverly Hills home of son Todd Fisher around 1 p.m. PST. She was reportedly at the home to discuss funeral plans for Ms. Fisher.

Taylor was a grieving widow after losing Mike Todd and she leaned on Eddie Fisher for emotional support, so she went after him and tried to mold him into being another Mike Todd (which he was anything but), so the relationship was doomed and she found a Todd stand-in with Richard Burton.
One is never OK after a stroke.
Fisher became very close to Taylor when she was despondent over Mike Todd's death.
I have heard from people that have worked with both Reynolds and Taylor, that Liz was the by far the nicest.
The initial report that she had been taken to the hospital was that Debbie Reynolds was extremely distraught over the death of her daughter. In the 60’s my husband’s aunt, in her early twenties was hit by a car and died outside of the family’s home. The next morning her father had a fatal heart attack. What a trying time for a family.
Oh who cares!!!
I’m so sick of this worshipping like pegans and stuff!!!
Screw these people! Bunch of hethans! !! /s
Prayers for Debbie’s quick and complete recovery. What a heartache she’s endured.
wow, man ...
If you don’t like it, don’t click on it.
It’s that simple.
She is one of my favorites ever! Singing in the Rain, Unsinkable Molly Brown, The Mating Game - that was a silly one but I loved it. I love her voice, and she could dance with the best of them. I hope she recovers 100%
“My sister buried a daughter at 18.There’s no greater sadness than for a mother to bury a child. “
Well I’m a father not a mother but I buried a two day old son and a 26 year old son,, and I still have some very sad days.
I have fond memories when I think of my departed parents. but no matter what I’m always sad when I think of the children that are gone.
Thanks, hopefully it’s not a stroke.

“There’s no greater sadness than for a mother to bury a child. “
There is one thing worse. I have seen it.
Not covered much in the news is that Carrie Fisher’s son was in a motorcycle accident the day she had her heart attack, was in a coma and never heard about her illness/death before he himself died. A LOT for one family in one short week.
All this reminds me of the opening scene of “The Purple Rose of Cairo,” where Mia Farrow is going on and on about the stars’ marriages and divorces, and who is right for whom, etc.
oh wow, it does often come in threes.
I posted that, and then felt bad about it.
Well screw you too. Go away. Go watch a Debbie Reynolds movie and see what talent is. Moron.
I think that was Zsa Zsa Gabor's son. (Still tragic either way.)
