Which mission could a bomber not support from up high with precision weapons?

Time to target? - Already over the battle space.

Dug in enemy? - JDAMs work just fine for that.

I have not been at any element of CAS, so I’m asking not baiting.

For many CAS missions, as I mentioned before, a bomber would have to loiter 24/7 to be in position. This is possible during a major offensive. But this is not out typical ground mission. That is why multiple airframes are required. And no, the F-35, as wondrous as it may be, will not fill all the other roles required to provide CAS.

Do you know that the King Air is one of the most effective airframes to locate the enemy? Did you even know we use King Airs in the AOR?
