My baseball cards were gone too.
I was glad to get home but, geeezzzeee.
“My mother threw away my small Roman coppers when I was away in the army. She said, “Bobby, I can’t have all that junk around the house.”
Yep, know how you feel...
My Mom was a teacher when we were kids. One of the other teachers had a cousin who played for the Mets.
She got my mom a set of Mets 8x10’s. Almost all of them autographed. Personalized.
When my brother moved out of the house, she tossed them after a couple of years.
And what year was this almost complete set of autographed Mets pictures? 1969.
Moms back in the day were nice and they loved us. But sometimes they simply had no clue about what is “important.”
How small can a house be ?
How many cubic feet of space would be needed for what has been described?
2 ‘bankers boxes’ worth???
I would be plenty mad.
