Thanks for your contribution to the thread. When I was 4, my cat had a litter of kittens. I tried to give one to my grandmother. She refused saying it would eat her blue birds.
So here I am, a 4 year old, explaining to 60 something woman that cats can’t fly.

Thanks to all for your photos and conversation. One of the amazing things about Free Republic is the camaraderie like minded people of good will share, even though we have likely never met in person.
We fight it out on the political scene, but at the end of the day, we share a common love for God, country and liberty.

With that being said I hate robins and would support a state amendment to change Michigan's state bird to the Chickadee.......At least they don't poop all over the place and stay here all winter long.
