Actually it was probably the best of the Star Wars movies — maybe on the same ground as Empire. I may be blasted for that statement, but it was really great. No cute Ewoks, no stupid Jar-Jar. It was more like a fast paced war movie like the Dirty Dozen, Guns of Navarone or Where Eagles Dare.

Darth Vader was just plain scary — now you know why everyone was afraid of him. This was a movie by fans for fans. As for the overhyped “gay couple”, it is never really stated. It was two guys who fought together for many years — their relationship was more like brothers in arms, not gay. Hopefully people won’t get wrapped around the axle about that.

I didn't know there was a controversy at all here. Are people talking about the blind guy and the burly fellow with the gatling gun? Yeah, there was nothing gay about that. Just two guys who had made a lifelong sport out of shooting and beating down imperials.
