Revelation 8:8-11

8The second angel sounded, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood, 9and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed. 10The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters. 11The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

I seem to remember something about a mountain falling into the ocean killing a third of life on the planet, and but it works out OK in the end.

The stupid! It burns!

Comets and asteroids are random events. A comet could strike one day, and the chance of a comet strike the next day is exactly the same as if there has not been one for a hundred million years.

There is no such thing as “they tend to occur every x-million years”. There is no such thing as due or overdue. The fact that there has not been one for a long time is irrelevant, or relevant only as an indicator that such things are extremely rare.

Either this “scientist” knows this, and is being intentionally manipulative, or he does not know this, which would make him completely ignorant. Either way, there is nothing of value in his statements.

Now that their global warming/muslim outreach funding is about to dry up NASA is looking for Billions to fund nuclear tipped asteroid deterrent missiles to fill the gap.

But, but, but didn't that 'extinction-level' event happen on November 8, 2016? 😁. (At least according to the muhamedan promoting NASA et la?)

That’s always been the case ... because we don’t know everything and we don’t fully understand natural occurances on earth or from outer space.

We are probably better off not knowing all the potential “end of the world” scenarios out there.

Hey NASA, shut up and figure out how to get someone in orbit with one of our own rockets.

I listened to this Joe Rogan podcast a while back and it was fascinating.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H5LCLljJho&list=PLk1Sqn_f33KuS7ZSVMJqzFaqOyyl-esmG&index=17

It’s an interview with 2 scientists who have been connecting events around the world with a cataclysm 12000 years ago that cause massive floods. They think a comet hit causing massive melting and flooding that wiped out most of humanity and was the source of the great flood story that is common almost universally across all religions and tribes around the globe.

This can happen today, so I think it is worth putting some resources into it. It would not require the ridiculous amount of money that the global warming fiasco would require. The difference is that this is a real threat. Look at the big even in Russia a few years ago and Tunguska back in 1900. A city or country could be wiped out with one of these... or even an extinction level event.

The upside is that we would finally be rid of communists and liberals forever!

Global warming isn’t going to fly in the Trump administration, and people got bills to pay. I expect the odds of a comet hitting the Earth will significantly increase on January 20, 2017.
