Originals, I have several. Years ago the treasure hunter who found the wreck of the Atocha came to Houston and put the things he found on display in a local jewelry store. We bought a handful of the silver coins from him. I have always worn a cross on a necklace. These coins have a cross on one side so I wear it instead.
