I suggest we follow Grant's suggestion and think about what we are going to do ourselves post January 20 instead of worrying about what Obama might do in the month he has left.

Wonderful. I have never seen that quote before, but I love it. Thanks for posting. Grant’s point, and a good one, was that Lee had built up such a reputation, that his reputation alone was fighting for him.

While I agree with you, DoodleDawg, the reason that Lee was so feared is that he might actually be able to do just what the officers feared. They weren’t concerned over nothing.

Obama? Not so much. I think he might lobby for U.N. President, however, and if it’s within the rules, I bet they would give it to him.
