Yes. He has written several books, but I love his autobiography, Ragman’s Son. Amazing book. He has had quite a life. He grew up in poverty, and is truly a self-made man.

He has never forgotten that he is Issur Danielovitch.

My favorite story from Ragmans Son was about how one year he was so down and out he was denied Thanksgiving dinner at the Salvation Army. By the next Thanksgiving he’d landed a role on Broadway and had dinner at the home of a wealthy family.
