I got Camo 2 weeks before the election at PetCo’s “Reptile Rally” when all their reptiles are half price.
They had another 1/2 sale for Black Friday but Chams are solitary critters and I restrained myself.
You really can’t let it loose unless you have an escape proof place and warms temps.
Veiled Chameleons come from Yemen and they need to be warm.
That, and they’re utterly defenseless against all predators.
You’d be better off making your place friendly to frogs and toads...and of course, salamanders.

I have eight cats inside and ten cats outside. You would think those lazy critters would eat them, but, no.
I will look up that cage you mentioned. My cats are afraid of their own shadows...
