O-M-G....just read some of the comments and curry powder was NOT introduced into American at the same time as ice cream!

Ice cream was one of Dolly Madison's favorite deserts to sever at dinners at the White House; for crying out loud!

Soy Sauce has been used for over 200 years here? I don't believe that is true at all!

If you watched ‘How It’s Made’ when they do a soy or Worcestershire sauce episode, you would *never* use either, again.

*hint: there’s an awful lot of “carefully controlled decay” involved

How long ago did we start importing Chinese people to build things? I can totally believe we have been using soy sauce for that long. The Europeans have been trading with China for hundreds of years, so soy sauce could have been brought by European immigrants just as well as Chinese ones. I love soy sauce.
