I have a huge beaver pond on my property that must support a dozen beavers. I have NEVER seen one during the day, ever. Not once ever.

There were beavers in a park lake near me until earlier this year. I saw an adult on several occasions and a juvenile once, all in the daytime.

If you search youtube for “greenbelt beaver” you’ll find a few more videos.
