I have avoided Chrome just because of the ways it continues to try to force itself on me.

Me, too. I don’t have any trouble with internet explorer, and I hate the way you have to closely examine the updates for many programs so they won’t install chrome on you. Last time that happened, it was a hell of a job to get rid of it.

I was having problems with Chrome, I have some extensions and blockers installed and I was having trouble viewing some videos on news sites. I tried messing around trying to work around the mess I made, and decided that another browser would work when Chrome didn’t.

I did something silly and tried Opera. It was just a lark but I like it and now I use both.

Moot for me because it is no longer supported on XP. Btw, Firefox runs great.

I have four Yahoo email addresses. Yahoo seems to have wiped all my passwords and does not send anything to the recovery address when I do lost my password. I have recovered three of the addresses by signing on with Chrome but the fourth seems to be gone for good. The ones I got back are good on my usual browser once again. I made the mistake of storing some stuff on the site I got closed out of.

There is a new browser out that works well. It’s called Brave, it’s from the former CEO of firefox. They booted him because he was against gay marriage, so he started a new company. I really like it. Brave.com
