You are forgetting that many parents use the public schools as subsidized babysitting to have a place to warehouse the kiddies while they are at work. Graduating the kids early would not be of interest.

For those parents who use government schooling for babysitting, then they would not have their child apply for early graduation. These children would remain in the government indoctrination camps ( Oops! “schools”).

The point is to increase options and freedom for parents and children.

Another goal is to reduce costs to the states and to the property owners. Even if taxes do not go down at least it would free up money for other community projects.
