“please stop with all this nonsense”

They sure are fighting hard in the three states - If you have a theory that isn’t ‘nonsense’, I’d like to know what it is.

I understand this, but can you think of an election where the losing side delayed a recount for this long? 140,000 votes may seem like a lot, but 3 weeks to create mischief is a long time also.

Agreed. The ones involving Al Franken and Christine Gregoire involved very extremely small margins (Franken had a 225 and then a 312 vote margin of victory and Gregoire a 129 one). Very far cries from 20,000 or 10,000 (after not one but two manual recounts if I am correct) or nearly 70,000.

It’s beyond ridiculous at this point.

One has nothing to do with the other. Think better.

Across the three states Hillary only needs to get one half of your total + 1 or approximately 70,001 votes.
Never underestimate the ability of democrats to rig the vote, even a recount. They play for keeps.

“Of course they think they might be able to do that, but it’s basically an impossibility with Trump’s margin of victory, so why should we care if they want to waste their time and money?”

“You guys really need to stop hyperventilating over this BS.”

“You’ve got a death grip on those pearls of yours, fella!”

Do you guys accept apologies? I vowed to apologize for stirring things up if the recount proved not be a clever Democrat scheme. It wasn’t. You guys were right, it was futile and I AM SORRY! In fact, it worked in our favor, by showing the ‘irregularities’ in Michigan (with one machine in Detroit registering 300 votes, when only 51 ballots were cast). We now have a launching board for all kinds of investigations and finally getting a voting system in place where it’s not so easy to cheat.

In fact I slept a bit better after you guys and others responded to me. My main concern was the ineptness of the Republicans, their tendency to be part of the ‘normalcy syndrome’ which means that if prior recounts never overturned election margins of these levels, then future recounts wouldn’t, and there was no need to even worry about them...just trust the poll workers in Detroit, Milwaukee, and other cities to be honest (LOL). Instead, it seems they got their ‘extra votes’ in prior to recounts and the well was pretty much dry for them once the recounts started. My concern is that hundreds of Democrats, maybe thousands, may very well be facing jail time, and due to that, they had little to lose by going all out in the cheating world...but I guess it just wasn’t that easy for them.

As it was, I was somewhat vindicated today when Texas made a TOTAL SPECTACLE of their Electoral College process. I suspect that they figured since there was never any problems before in getting Electors to support their state, there wouldn’t be this time, even with Trump. IDIOTS. But not surprising to this Texan, considering that we continue to elect a DEMOCRAT to run the State House, even though Republicans have had (and still nearly have) a two-thirds majority there...it really is time for them to either step-up their game, or be thrown out. As it was, Trump only won here by 9 points...and it wasn’t all demographics (after all, Republicans won every statewide race in 2014 by 20+ points), but rather it was the non-stop SNIPING AT TRUMP, by Cruz and others (talk radio, etc.), that nearly cost us the state (and, of course the national Republicans didn’t help either).

But it’s over now...I have no fears of Congress giving the final ok to the results, they know better than to get in the way. And I have no fears of Obama, he’ll either peacefully leave the White House, or the Secret Service will help him out...it is over for him and his bunch, and THANK GOD!!!
