What I got out of the last episode is gun registries are a bad idea even in the apocalypse.
Registries always lead to bad guys confiscating the guns.

That may be so but keep in mind that the time frame of TWD is much slower than what we are watching in real time, which is actually a few years but not so in TWD......

Whew ... that is a relief ...
Count me as one that signed off after the first episode this year. I had, to that point followed it from day one. I haven’t totally given up on Zombies, I binge watched the Z-Nation Marathon on Sc-fi and after the first couple of seasons it actually seemed to become enjoyable while not taking itself too seriously. I may come back to the Dead eventually, but Rick and the crew seem to screw up every opportunity given much, like the Republicans in congress. Maybe they’ll find their Trump.
