I did see a woman bending over the produce in a Qatif market one time. She had LIFTED the abaya (same thing) to better look at the vegetables.
She saw me next to her and smiled at me. She was old (probably late 40s), with green eyes and NO TEETH. The abaya was a GOOD thing for her, pour soul. She might have been a beauty in her youth.
