Normally I would go to my only relative I talk to in the area, my cousin, but he's down in Williamsburg on vacation. So I am home alone, made a modest Thanksgiving dinner with a New Braunsfels smoked chicken (yum!), mashed potatoes, dressing and peas. I had a co-worker invite me over to his house if I wanted to, but I politely declined - I like the guy, he is a fellow Trump supporter in my department. But I am really not alone. I have all my FReeper buds keeping me company this holiday. And for that I give thanks.
You know, that deplorable line was one of the best things Hillary Clinton ever said.
Oh no, I am so sorry for your horrible losses. That is too much to endure yet you must. I am glad you had the peace of aloneness tonight. The pressure on you to please anyone else ever should be lifted. Praying for a future for you with true contentment and love to help against the pain.
