That certainly was his business model in the early days. He redeveloped NYC's old Commodore Hotel into the Grand Hyatt. His business model pivoted into casino resorts then golf club communities as the market permitted.
Most recently, it's franchising the Trump name. He's not committed to one business model but allows the market to dictate what his focus is. That's probably while he's still standing after 40 years.
