If you have a copy of MalwareBytes, run it and see if you have any PUPS (Potentially Unwanted ProgramS) on your machine. Include Rootkits in the ‘search’ parameters. Select SCAN, Configure, All drives, Scan for Rootkits. It’ll run for a LONG time, but it will clean-off the bad guys.

I did just that yesterday, found two PUPS and removed them. All good. Watched the movie and loved it!
