I’m semi-retired and no long have “hire and fire” responsibilities.
But...
If an employee said they were voting for Hillary, although I would tell them they are idiotic for doing so, it would not be a career ender.
If on the other hand, they tried to proclaim the validity of this paranoid idiocy, which of course is nothing more then foolish internet rumors, even if they were great political conservatives, they would be very career limited, because neither I nor any of the Senior Partners could ever trust them to make a reality-based decision, and that could be disastrous to both our firm and our clients.

(P.S. My “favorite” is the claim that the “FBI Wanted Posters” in the matter of the abduction of a girl closely resembles the Podesta brothers. They forget the girl was abducted in Portugal.... and the FBI does not investigate the supposed abduction of English tourist toddlers in Portugal!)
