Wasn’t there a secession movement by the right, also? Divide the state in two. Liberals in the south, so they can live with, and take care of via their own tax money, all of the illegals. Conservatives to the north!
Hmmmm...so much for Michelle running as California senator from her new Rancho Mirage base. ;)
They get their water and power from the USA. Whatever we lose in positive net tax revenue, we can make up in selling them water and that dirty, dirty old fossil fuel power that the NIMBY’d right out of the state.
The irony of it all.
Californians that can’t stand California move on to infest other states and with their California values wind up Kalifornicating such states.
Mexicans that cannot stand Mexico do the same with California.
I say let them go. It’s already Mexifornia.
Monumental waste of time. The Feds own way too much land on the Golden State to simply give up.
There will be no “independent” California. If it breaks from the U.S., Mexico gets first dibs on its future. Any idea of “independence” is folly.
Well...bye.
They can take whatever parts vote to go.
The rest stays.
Good luck running a country with little to export other than crappy movies.
Let them go,than invade and reconstruct them.
We are going to build a wall and they are going to pay for it.
Best response to these Leftists:
“Don’t you Democrats remember what happened the last time you tried this after losing a Presidential Election to a Republican?”.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Chicoms are bankrolling this effort as a means of destabilizing the US.
Plus we get RID of the entire 6 th Circus (the Judges have to stay with Freak/CommiFornia!)
Put them all on Alcatraz. Problem solved.
Let them go as long as they take their fair share of Obama’s twenty trillion dollar debt. I would divide it up as a percentage of the number of electoral votes cast for him.
And shortly thereafter, without access to a LOT of Federal tax dollars, they would jump the border into the USofA because there would be no source of all the “free” crap they crave.....Kalifornia would become a wilderness no-man’s land....
I am in California. I would vote in favor of this and if successful move out of California.
Of course it will never happen, but we can dream.
FreeRepublic is located in Fresno, which last time I looked was in California.
