Should be interesting when they have to pay double for their federal welfare and their state welfare.
1) They leave and become another country
2) They have tariffs placed on all products and services that they export
3) We tax the electricity that they import from the US
4) The Ports of Portland and Seattle expand
5) A wall is built to keep fleeing ‘leftists’ inside this new country
6) Soon they will not be able to feed themselves and will ask the UN for assistance
7) We all rejoice that Republican Presidents will control the country for decades.
Secession? Why don’t we skip all the grief and go straight into Reconstruction because there’s no way the rest of us are going to let you walk out.
Now we have to build another fence.
We would have to extend the wall to include Mexifornia’s eastern border.
a better idea would be to ask the other states to vote on kicking California out.
After the overwhelming “YES” vote....
besides, it’s not like there are that many Americans left in this state anyway.
No more tax dollars from California, either. I think that would be a net win for them.

Let ‘em go and then take Puerto Rico as the new 50th state. The welfare burden would probably be lighter.

Just think what it would mean for us if the Dems have 55 electoral votes less each presidential election. The country would lunge to the right. If only it would really happen.
I wonder if we can have an exchange program where the remaining CA conservatives can move to NV, AZ, and CO to shore up those states, while the commies in Seattle and Portland move to the San Francisco Bay area, liberating WA and OR.

California seceding is not as simple as a bunch of leftist loons think. They cand just vote their way out of the Union.
Four years after the Civil War, the “Texas v. White” Supreme Court ruling of 1869 established that no state can ever secede from the union without the unanimous consent of all other states.
Getting 49 states to approve of the secession will be difficult at best.
