William, who has a concealed carry permit had bought two weapons, one similar to a gun he already owned. Once they were in the vehicle to leave the fairgrounds, Daniel handed his personal weapon and one of the handguns he had purchased to Judd, who was sitting in the backseat, to compare the two weapons, officials said.
As they were leaving the parking lot, Judd accidentally caused the loaded weapon to discharge.
The projectile struck the seat and then struck Mrs. Glosson in the back of the head, said Sheriff Donnie Harrison. She was alive and talking when she left the scene.....
...
Sheriff Harrison said the shooting appears to be accidental.
Anytime you mess with firearms, be careful, he said.

That was close. Almost shot out the windshield.
So the negligent discharge was in a car, not at the gun show.
Title makes it sound as if she was shot inside.
In the past, anti-gunners have gotten into gun shows and while looking at guns slip a cartridge in one and leave it hoping someone will pick it up and dry fire it.
Then they scream about shootings at gun shows.
“...Judd accidentally caused the loaded weapon to discharge.”
Whoa! That’s weird. I can’t recall seeing article describes an A.D. as anything other than the gun accidently went off, as if it is a sentient being with agency.
Sumpin ain’t write.../S
It makes it easier for them to confiscate our ‘weapons’ (guns)
Evidently the Lord has more plans for this lady or more time to accept Him as her Savior.
An obvious multiple-instance case of ignoring the basic rules.
A moving vehicle is simply an exceptionally bad place to “compare” firearms; to “hand” a gun to another person without the “hander” checking for clear (error #1) and the “handee” checking for clear (error #2) and then pointing the weapon at anything you don’t wish to destroy EVEN IF you and the person before you checked for empty (error #3) so I am counting three direct rule violations and one particularly egregious brainf**t. And I don’t own a gun.
My husband was at a huge gun show in Houston a number of years ago when a shot was fired. I don’t think anyone was hurt but the place was instantly silent.
Sounds like Lasonya was unqualified to handle a gun.
The Ministry of Propaganda strikes again.
This happened outside a gun show as they were leaving in a vehicle.
Stupid people are what causes negligent discharges, not the gun.
Is it responsible to have your gun with a round in the chamber and the safety off if you aren’t getting ready to fire at a target?
I’ll bet more people have been shot at anti-violence rallies than at gun shows.
Always, always, always keep the muzzle pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION!!! Someone was prayin for that fool.
I was at a gun show in MD, back in the ‘90s, when the UPS powering a dealer’s computer exploded. Sounded like a pistol shot. Same thing ... place went instantly silent. The smoke and reek of burnt electronics told the tale.
Title makes it sound as if she was shot inside
thats what they were shooting for
LaSonya was probably holding the firearm laying on its side with her finger on the trigger.
Major oops. Imagine how that guy will feel for the rest of his life.
“Accidental”? How about “Negligent”?
And who the hell has a loaded gun at a show? That is always verboeten.
