As someone who has grown up around artists and liberals my whole life: I want to say, “Hamilton” is an incredibly well-written, well-produced, true-to-history feat! The phenomenon is cause for hope that liberals and young generations of "minority" Americans will identify with our founders after years and years of being conditioned to view America as fundamentally a bad place and our founders as fundamentally hostile, racist people -- and not for the great, complex, robust characters they were!
Give it more time, and eventually more will eventually be drawn to conservatism, which ideally leads to embracing the Judeo-Christian principles and our Creator God which underpin them.

I think a basic rule of thumb is to not enter hostile, traditional “enemy” territory (in this case, Broadway/Hollywood) JUST after a battle while the blood is still wet on the ground from defeat so to speak. Hence why I think the timing for the VP-elect's attendance was not right.
Abraham Lincoln understood this! This is why Civil War reconstruction was such a disaster because he died before being able to oversee it. The North did not give the South enough time to sort of recover itself from the initial war itself! (A far more extreme example, yes, but the idea still applies!)
"Making America Great Again" will not just happen in a day and President-elect Trump did a great job in reaching out to groups of people considered traditionally opposed to the conservative message: African-Americans, et al. It's a start!
So you believe that the Vice president Elect’s movements should be controlled by a bunch of babyish losers? Is that right? No one, I repeat no one had to treat me with kid gloves after the last two elections. Perhaps,it is time to stop making excuses for bad behavior.
Give it time? Give it your own time.
I think, many of those “babyish losers” are potential members of our side. There is a such thing as tact and timing. That’s all I’m saying.
I have to and do...being a “Hollyweird” native, and I have seen conversions take place before my eyes.
I could suggest another “rule of thumb.”
The actor should have considered tact and timing but he didn’t and he set a new, historic low in compartment.

I have the same ambiguous respect for this approach to history as I do to those who change Shakespeare and Voltarie or use Rap themes to spread The Holy Gospel. I appreciate the sincerity, but, some quality is lost when all is dumbed down and homogenized. The listener learns little if anything about how other cultures have communicated or responded to communication.

Agreed! Look, I think if any actor will have second thoughts about what he just did — it will be this one. I kid you not. I don’t know him personally, but that is my feeling.
Deep down, people know the values the morally and spiritually upright Mike Pence stands for are the right values...And it makes people uncomfortable, because it forces them to do an examination of their own sins.
I have heard of it ; and furthermore, despite the theatrics of the main actor, it is historically accurate in regard to the Founding Fathers.
The last I had heard, the waiting list for tickets is 1 1/2 years, due to the theater size; thus guaranteeing that these actors will still be working for quite some time.
Lecturing one of your paying audience is at least , rude; at worst ,..crude !
Pense and family went there to be entertained, learn something about how history was being portrayed, and indirectly perhaps to learn something about the Founders.
I doubt that the same audience would react that same way if Hildabeast had attended, since much of metro-NYC is Commie/Fascist; it still is no excuse for a lecture !
I guess I will wait until it comes out on NetFlicks ...

One of the most respected Shakespeare experts I studied with talks about how in many ways, Shakespeare was the “original rapper” - especially for his time in terms of how he reworked language to suit his ends.
