You can't walk 100 feet without a warning sign. They used to explain it thusly:

They have warnings about bison, about bears, about mountain lions, about boiling water, about thin crust that looks like solid ground, and about a whole lot of other ways that guys in their teens and 20s die at Yellowstone. It doesn't seem to help.
