I’m actually somewhat receptive to the idea of non-prosecution for Hillary Clinton, via pardon or otherwise. I don’t care about her, of course, but I do care about the precedent.

If we could let Robert E. Lee and Jeff Davis go free, I suppose we can let her go, too.

However.

This exceptional streak of mercy does not extent to Bill, Chelsea, Mark Mezvinsky, Huma, Cheryl Mills, David Kendall, John Podesta, or any other grifter or thief involved with the tax evasion/money laundering/bribery/racketeering/conspiracy known as the Clinton Foundation.

If Hillary is to go free, we must first of all recover every dime stolen from the taxpayers, and punish every conspirator, racketeer, shakedown artist and bagman involved in this incredible scheme.

“Pardon her for what, Jesse? We thought she had done nothing wrong.”

Precisely. Hey Jesse, what has Hillary done wrong that she needs a pardon for?

Ford pardoned Nixon of all crimes that he “has committed or may have committed or taken part in”. Think of this a preemptive pardon.

Not saying I agree with this. Just pointing out historical precedent for it.

A pardon inherently means they have done things requiring a pardon.

Hey, Bill Clinton pardoned Jackson’s child perv buddy, Mel Reynolds, so why shouldn’t Obama pardon Hillary?

>>If we could let Robert E. Lee and Jeff Davis go free, I suppose we can let her go, too.

They didn’t “let” Lee and Davis “go free”. There is no “exceptional streak of mercy”. They did not break the law, as secession is not illegal, and thus there was nothing about which to charge them. If there was, I have little doubt they would have been charged, tried, and convicted. None of that happened, as far as I know.

These men were courageous men of exceptional bravery, to stand up to an out of control federal gov’t, and I applaud them and honor their memory. I hold liberals’ attempts to dishonor them (ex. statue removals) with the utmost disgust.

As I don’t believe it serves any unifying purpose to further American patriots with additional divisive remarks on this topic, I shall suffice it to say:

If a “Free People” are not free to secede, theny aren’t truly “free”, but are in fact slaves to their tyrant masters.

I disagree. One of the biggest problems fostered by the Obama administration and liberals in general is that the law does not apply equally across the board any longer. When the government can pick and choose who to prosecute based solely on who they are, like Holder, Lynch, or Clinton, or their membership in favored groups, like illegal immigrants or liberal rioters, then we have confirmed this suspicion that some people are above the law.

While I would not relish the Clintons making a perp walk, I think the country and the world as a whole is owed an honest investigation of how Hillary corrupted the office of the Secretary of State and how they both sold present and future government influence to foreign and domestic special interests.

Each time the public perceived that justice is not served, it increases the temptation to skirt the law also. And respect for the law is the only thing that keeps this country from devolving into total anarchy.

Yes, he will pardon her. He E-mailed to her private server, then signed Executive Orders to allow FOIA from discovering it. Drain the swamp, Mr. Trump. Let the chips fall where they may.

listening to what Hillary has said, she’s never done anything wrong or illegal. Why would she need to be pardoned?

There may be a pardon, but I have a feeling civil suits against the Clinton Foundation by parties damaged by its activities (like Haiti) could bankrupt the Foundation.

Right. An Obama pardon would be proof positive she engaged in criminal behavior.

Doesn't matter to me. I want her prosecuted along with all her cronies. If she is pardoned, it is still the end of the Clinton mafia in American politics.

Good riddance.

Just my opinion, but I think that Obama and Trump have agreed that the best way to keep her under control is not to pardon her and not prosecute her but leave the threat of prosecution if she gets out of line.
If she got prosecuted she would spill so much stuff that it would take over the national narrative and who knows what the effect would be.
Best I’m hoping for is confiscation of most of her and his assets.
Doubt she goes to jail.

It’s over 90%, maybe he figures that he might as well finish the job.

It still amazes me how much failure the libs can embrace.

Jesse , pardon her of what, she says she did not do anything illegal, don’t you have to be convicted of something to get a pardon?
