I still feel totally numb. I got zero seconds sleep on election night. Yesterday morning I felt so overwhelmed that I went to the doctor to ask for some meds for anxiety for the first time ever in my life. I told the provider why I needed them and she was very understanding. At least the meds helped me sleep last night (and will again tonight).”

So beautiful. So beautiful.

We need to see this as a warning, and keep our defenses up at Free Republic.

I’ve been reading them quite a bit leading up to the election. Any that posted about being concerned about the outcome of the election were poo-poo’ed. They wouldn’t post any polls that indicated Trump was ahead or closing in on Hillary. It became an echo chamber.

Then came Election Day (aka the day of reckoning). Not sure when DU went down; probably early evening. DU has a Facebook page for emergencies, so they were posting updates there. You think the current offerings are hysterical, you ought to see the FB postings on Election night. Then as news of the DU disaster spread in conservative circles, the taunting posts began. I’m sure the snowflakes suffered greatly. LOL
