Hmmmm, maybe every member of the franchise should get a "participation" award after each game?

That might pull in the soccer moms and such?

How about no field goals in the last 2 minutes of the game.

************

Restructuring the game isn’t going to help. The NFL has an attitude problem. Viewers are tired of being force fed a bunch of PC crapola all season long. Too many players are insulting fans with their own views and sense of self importance. Until that is stopped their audience will keep shrinking.

I don’t know anyone who watches the NFL anymore. They lost their viewers who just want to watch a diversion for a couple of hours without all the political and PC intonations.

Blaming Netflix for not having commercials is not the problem, well... maybe it is a big factor.

I find myself running Netflix or Amazon Prime rather than watching a regular TV channel. I also watch some TV programs via TiVo recording because I can skip commercials.

I find myself watching a commercial TV program when I intend to surf the web on my laptop. Initially, my plan is to surf during commercials, but that often extends into the TV program, as well.

Just think how bad the ratings would be without fantasy football.

How about respecting the flag.

Don't be silly. The question was: "What can they do to regain viewers while still insulting us, our parents and grandparents who died defending that flag, and our country."

I won’t watch one minute until the NFL does something about these morons disrespecting the country that has made them rich and given them so much. I don’t care what they do on their own time, but the NFL has a right to say how they behave while at work but refuses to exercise it.

I watched a DVD of the Cowboys win over the 49ers in the 1992 NFC Championship game. Without replay, the officials got every call right. Without replay, they officials were under pressure to perform better. With replay, they’ve become sloppy and lazy.

Same! I loved football, but since the kapernick protest, I disengaged. I am a cord cutter and the final straw was this stunt and NFL's refusal to take action.

Happy to report I do NOT miss it. I have more time with family and for projects. I don't even follow it anymore and I could care less.

The NFL made it very easy for me. I did this with NASCAR several years back. Both alienated their fan base.
