I wanted to teach the value of voting and doing your civic duty. I love teachable moments.

Did you explain to her why you weren’t voting for the female candidate? Just curious.

I took my nine year old son to vote with me this morning. He was so excited. We saw Trump in person a week or so ago and hopefully these memories will stay with him forever.

Now, we have all mail-in ballots here in WA state.

I used to take my daughter to vote when we had polling places. It was a great civics lesson. And she liked the stickers the League of Women Voters gave her!

I took my 20yo daughter to vote, and she actually voted :-) one of the three in our family to help put Trump over the top in FL. This is heady stuff tonight, the opposite of 4 and 8 years ago. Wonderful!

I was at a polling place a mother came out with her four kids and they were all wearing a I voted sticker. I teased the kids and the mother about them being to young to vote and the mother said proudly they had a vote at there grade school so they have a right to wear the sticker one of the kids a little girl said that trump won so that means he will win tonight.

thank heavens for the faith of little kids. I needed it because I had stayed positive but thought that Hillary was going to win.

My granddaughter took her 7 year old twin girls with her to vote. Later she dropped them at the babysitter. Bryleigh proudly showed her the I Voted sticker. She told the sitter she got to vote, sitter ask who she voted for. Bryleigh said it is private and besides you don't like him😆

You provided your daughters with a valuable lesson. Today when I went to vote, there were a few parents voting, and they had their children with them too. It brought back fond memories of me and my Dad. I used to go with him to the polling booth when I was a kid. My father came to this country with his parents from Holland back in 1912. He cherished this country, and passed that love of country down to his children.

you got a great granddaughter who has figured out at a young age how to tweak the nose a liberal. you can bet that the babysitter was very loud about her hatred of trump for her to of said that.
