I’ll bet somebody there has been feeding those squirrels regularly. I worked with people who had regularly fed the squirrels, and got them to climb up their leg and take a peanut out of their pocket. Could be the squirrels were looking for their regular snack, and got a little crazy when it wasn’t forthcoming.
