I don’t know how one could even get up to that speed in a 35 mph zone unless the road was really straight and he hit the lights just right.

Why are you assuming he would stop for a red light? Somebody who does this, then strips and dances on a statue in the middle of a pond probably isn't worrying about traffic lights.

When I said “hit the lights just right”, I meant more than I said. ;-)

I meant that he didn’t hit anything on his climb to speed.

Of course, it’s possible his car was only doing 134 for a fraction of a second.
