my paralegal was just in my ofc wringing her hands over the election. I am such a wreck and I have a difficult brief due and the court shortchanged me on the extra time I requested, which increases my stress. I cannot possibly concentrate.

Since we love to play with words here is an interesting pun:
An “Ass” is a donkey.
In the Bible, God gave the power of speech to Baalam’s “Ass” to give the prophet the Word of God. (Balaam was on his way to curse Israel at the time, and got stopped in his tracks)
