I came home to a letter from someone called Page S. Garner from the Voter Participation Center, 3915 Union Deposit Rd. #916, Harrisburg, Pa.
It is telling me that I that I haven't voted in the last several elections.
I take my right to vote very seriously. I am 59 yo, I register to vote on my 18th birthday. Along with the draft. I have missed only 2 primaries in that time. Both were primaries that being a Republican in an very Democratic area and there was no reason.
Has anyone else received this and what do I make of it.
Sounds like fishing for non-voting, registered voters to be able to cast votes for them.
Ignore it and go vote. They are fishing for a response... either, probably to get you to give them personal information to “validate yourself” that they can then use to scam you.
I GOOGLEd it and this is what I found.
What is the Voter Participation Center?
The Voter Participation Center (VPC) is a non-profit organization in the United States. It seeks to increase voter registration among demographic groups that are more likely to lean Democratic, including unmarried women, people of color and young people.
It’s the Ted Cruz trick!
Same kind of mailer that Cruz campaign sent out in primaries that pissed people off.
PO’ed me I voted in the elections they told me I didn’t

My two daughters each received two of these letters even though they left home several years ago and now live in FL and GA. They were originally registered as DEMs while in high school. I believe they are still on County (Chester County PA) voter roles. I think its the DEMs pushing turnout; turning over every rock. I now wonder if they will try to use an absentee ballot using their names! Anyone know if there is a way to check who voted via absentee ballot in PA?
Founded by a Democrat; that’s all you need to know.
Call the registrar of voters and inform them that your daughters should no longer be registered to vote, that they moved to other states and are registered to vote in their state.
I did the same to cancel my mother’s voter registration back a month or two ago. I wanted to guarantee that my liberal brother didn’t decide to vote for mom. I wouldn’t put it past him.
I can tell you that my poll opens at 7 am. I have some crazy friend that are planning on tailgaiting for breakfast, bringing a grill at 6 am. I’ll just might have to be there.
Never got junk mail before, eh?
Been living under a rock?
Yes I get junk mail just as you do. I have never got something like this. Yes I live under a rock, a rather large rock. Wanna come see it sometime?
Strongly suggest that you have each of your daughters send a signed letter - Certified, Return Request - to whomever is in charge of your county voting roles asking that their names be removed. In addition, their letter should ask for written return confirmation that their names have been removed. Would also send a copy of the letter to the Republican counterpart since they were registered as Democrats.
Then you may wish to follow up to make sure it was done.
