Probably the situation is you can’t just print stuff in a SCIF, without cataloging what you printed...and you probably can’t carry them out of the SCIF, without once again cataloging what you are taking, and of course having the documents signed in at a later date. This is laborious.
In DUmmyland, they are blaming congress for not funding the State Dept with enough money to get better printers. No, I’m not kidding.
But in reality, they didn’t want to have to mess with the minutia of tracking secure documents (like us peasants)...so she sent to a Yahoo account, to print.
The unanswered (and hardly asked) question: How did messages on the State Dept system get moved to a computer with access to the .com internet? My theory: HRC had a SCIF in her house, where the server was. Somehow, maybe by physical cable, the computer in her SCIF was connected to her home brew server...and that IT guy who took the 5th had a routine for moving the messages.
