The fewer Viking overlords took all their Irish servants with them when Iceland was settled.

Iceland has a low amount of genetic diversity. But, it is primarily 2/3 Norwegian, 1/2 Scot.

Not knowing much, that sounds absurd.

Not only do they not look it, the climate is not equivalent, but the names are all nordic types everywhere.
