Why would the FBI re-open this if Hillary is likely to be in a position to retaliate in January?Because the word has spread that the real polls show Trump winning big. Because the evidence now shows that Comey's wife took a bribe. Because Trump is on record as saying that once he's president that Hillary (and similar crooks) should be prosecuted. Because Comey is trying to back track and cover his rear end.

This could be for damage control. They don't want to go down with the ship.
