They are hedging and placing a marker or bet on a President Trump.

For all their activism, don’t think media folks are ruthless backstabbers and self servers when they smell blood in the water...
I don’t know if this reopening will amount to a damn thing... especially a late friday announcement...... But, if any remote possibility is sniffed by anyone in the press that there is a real potential outcome other then.. we looked and found nothing... then you better believe they will turn on Clinton in a heartbeat for their own self serving purposes...
They will go to bat as long as they can, but once the worm as turned, their loyalty is to themselves... just like during Monica... they ignored it until they could not anymore and once it broke open they fell all over each other trying to scoop the next thing that would devastate the Clintons... even though a week earlier they were happy to carry their water.
I see this getting announced on a Friday afternoon a week before as an attempt to minimize... we’ll see if anyone is still talking about it next monday.
