Nowhere TV is great, but it isn’t new. It’s been on Roku for years.

Be careful! At the very bottom of the Nowhere man page is a small flame icon. Clicking that will install a porno channel on your Roku. (Or so I am told...)

I went to “search channels” on my Roku page and entered “nowhere”, but all I got is “Nowhere Cast” (.99/mo) and “Nowhere Headlines” (Buy .99). Don’t see anything that says “Nowhere TV”.

Thanks for these little updates/blurbs.

We cut the cord years ago and with Roku, Plex, XTV and the various plugins/channels available there, we can find nearly anything we can think of.

We were just re-watching “Due South” a couple of nights ago. Then, we got to watching “F Troop” for the heck of it.

Such fun! (”Miranda” reference)

couple other streaming channels : PBS is pretty good. Our antenna won’t pick it up here, but the PBS channel posts their shows soon after they air on regular TV. I like this old house and some other PBS shows.

There is a roku news caster channel that lets you watch local news channels.

Some quirky stuff - blind cat rescue channel lets you watch cats play at a rescue place. There is another channel that lets you watch the feed from the ISS spacestation.

Whoever asked about the amazon version - I tried the fire stick and it wasn’t that great. Slower and not as good interface as the roku. We have a roku 3 and bought another roku 2 to watch movie rentals on our projector. The 3 has a headphone jack on the remote - which is nice when you want to watch quietly because of this the roku 2 remote is “line of site” meaning you have to have it pointed at the box - the roku 3 doesn’t have to be pointed at the box for the remote to work.

I will post more if I think of something else.
