No, I bought a Thompson/Center Hawken flint lock RIFLE!

Which is not a musket or blunderbuss. Very few real Hawkens were made in flintlock in the 1830s and '40s by the Hawken Brothers, most were percussion. A blunderbuss is a flared, short barreled gun used for repelling attackers boarding a ship in the 1700s, range was about 10 yards. A musket is a smoothbore rifle length weapon used during both the Revolutionary and Civil War by both militia and Federal troops.

Yup! You are correct. So relax or I’ll get Captain Jack and his tribe to come out of the Lava Beds and run a muck in your area. (Smile)
