My mom Bernice, missing you even more as this game starts. She had my brother take this picture in front of her front door - a polaroid I later scanned. She passed in 2008 and this was taken in 2003, she was pretty excited the Cubs were in the NLCS against the Florida Marlins.

So after talking with her on the phone after that picture was taken I shot this of our daughter with one of our dairy goat kids and photoshopped the Go Cubs on the goat. I mailed her a print and she was so excited she showed it to all her bingo buddies and had it taped on the corner of her tv for the series. Her favorite player of all time was Ron Santos.
