It was amazing and I’ll always remember it and sharing a part of it with you and his thread. great baseball. We are in our 60’s so staying up and rewatching it not in our wheelhouse. stayed up to see the mvp and left the dvr running for another hour. Everything was going so good then we were hoping they would leave Hendricks in just one more inning. Then it turned into a nailbiter. But the Cubs showed they were the best. The rain delay enabled our daughter to get home in time from her second shift job to see the last inning. MLB.com is going to make a lot of money today. Heading there shortly to get hubby a championship cap and me a tshirt. Just WoW!

Well great for Cubs fans but give a thought to Indians fans. They now inherit the longest drought in baseball. There are also 8 (all expansion) of the 30 clubs who have never won a championship.

Here’s to all the “Angels in the Outfield” Cub fans, my late wife included.

Historical achievement for The Cubs!

I hope they keep this group together, maybe JayHey needs to retire?
