This is nuts. After 51 years of Cub Fandom, we're in the Series.
Schwarber makes the lineup as DH, what a fine credit to the Cubs Mgmt team to have him with the team during rehab all summer.
Lester starts tonight, still can't throw to first, or second for that matter.
All other factors being equal, which they aren't really, Cubs pitching will win this series for Chicago.
Who is pitching for Cleveland, Arlo Guthrie?
Yeah clevinger is an oddity.
At least the City of Chicago celebrated a WS win in 2005, it’s been since 1948 for the City of Cleveland.
This has been a great series so far but I am so sick of Joe Buck. What a putz!
And there we are...Game 7 of the World Series.
Nothing like it, the entire season boiled down to at least 27 outs.
Go Cubs GO!!
Addy knew he blew the toss and Baez saw it and saved it...what an athlete!
Too bad he is hitting so lousy.
This is getting interesting.....
Tonight’s game will be a nailbiter and a smash.
Must see.
Game 7...as it should be.
Anything goes!
Everyone - but EVERYONE - will be glued to the tube tonight.
...and of course I want my Cubbies to win...
Should be a tense game. Unless we score 16 runs in the top o’ the first!!
Good Luck !
If the Tribe had to lose last night, better that it was a blow-out.
“At least the City of Chicago celebrated a WS win in 2005,———”
True, and a nice way to look at it.
I wish Boston was still a 2 team town.
.
What are you thinking about how it goes tonight?
Is it a free hitting, extra innings game?
Tired pitchers?
Or,
1-0?
1-0 is a blood pressure cooker. Given that the bats came alive a bit last night my guess it won’t be like that though. Fatigue and nerves will play a part tonight and not just for the players. :)
But I went to Case Western and the people of Cleveland are some of the nicest people on the planet. (Though that doesn't extend to East Cleveland.)
Plus the Indians have a stadium mustard to die for!!!! Sat in their bleachers many, many times.
Named my dog yogi.
I left a board meeting early just missed Fowlers homer.
