One has to be wary though.
I use a Amazon FireTV Stick. I use the Playstation Vue app, which has a LOT of stations.
Last night watching the Walking Dead was painful. The app kept freezing because their servers were getting pounded by the amount of people streaming.
I don’t care if you have a 100MB/S connection you’re going to hang.
In situations like that there is no replacement for cable TV and I’m seriously considering going back to it.

The problem with that is you'd be financially supporting the enemy: CNN, MSNBC, ESPN, FOXNEWS. Youtube has a world of good, free content and streams fine for me at 15.

I have Roku going through an HDMI cable for college football and Sling TV )BBC America, etc.). So how do I get this app being discussed?

I use the PlayOn app to permanently download the program. No internet needed once it is on your local box. Does away with unplanned immediate gratification, however.
