"Imagine my surprise when I found a pile of IRS 1040 tax returns among the tons of trash at a “lay-up site” used by illegal border jumpers near the Mexican border west of Douglas, Arizona. There are dozens of such places where the thousands of border invaders change clothes, discard trash and wait to be taken by their “coyote” to their pick-up location for moving on to Phoenix or El Paso or Houston.
The IRS 1040 forms were filled out and had been used. Hey, who says illegal aliens don’t pay taxes?
I collected the 1040 forms and we noticed all had claimed Earned Income Tax Credits and all also had claimed around nine deductions for children. The average refund was around $4,000. It occurred to me only much later that the American taxpayer may be funding the coyote’s $1,500 fees for smuggling poor Mexicans, Salvadorans — and Iraqis and Vietnamese — across our southwest border.
When I sent the 1040 forms to the Social Security Administration and the IRS, I was told that the practice described in the FORBES article was the one being followed in dealing with these returns. I tried to amend the appropriations bills for the IRS to be the practice, but I got nowhere. My Republican colleagues didn’t want to hear about it and were ticked at me for bringing it up.
Illegal aliens use “the system” to report income and also gain every possible “refund” the tax law — and IRS collusion — allows. Who can blame them when the welcome sign is in bright green neon letters?"

The 1040 is *submitted* to the IRS as part of the filing. Once you send it in, you don’t get it back. So what, exactly, were these forms? They’re not actual filed returns, because they would be in IRS hands.
Ask anybody who has worked as a high volume tax preparer in, especially in California or the Southwest. Those Mexican tax returns NEVER have any federal income tax withholding and ALWAYS have a big refund. Who ever was quoted in that headline is naive. I would not be surprised if they found mortgage applications and home equity line of credit papers in those safe houses. Those smuggling operations know where the money is.
A local insignificant story. Our pharmacist, we have known her for years, told us a story about her neighbor. A “single” Mexican female green card holder, (she has three young kids) works a job making about 25,000. per year. She receives total free healthcare. etc. So it seems she received an income tax refund for $12,000.00, which I can’t even begin to understand, but she did. Here is the kicker.....she IS married, her husband does live with her and the kids and is knocking down about 60 to 75,000.00, tax free per year operating a landscaping business. I told the pharmacist I didn’t know what kept her from turning her in and she said, it’s the kids, they are sweet and innocent.

Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs.
Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
Refundable tax credits need to be eliminated.
I be known for years that illegals have been receiving large tax returns.
The only way for that to happen is for the illegal to have a Social Security card/number and for that to happen, they are using some one's number.
For that to happen is that they must be using stolen ID of a citizen.
For that to happen is for them to purchase stolen IDs or they've stolen them themselves!
I did have two people using mine and found it out and complained to Social Security. The fact that they were unconcerned, I found interesting. I guess the IRS and Social Security don't mind getting money from two sources, but I made it a point for the other person paying into my SS account to be cut off.

Another common scam is to find a well-to-professional (like a doctor or lawyer) with a complex return that they cannot file right away (waiting for 1099s, etc). They steal a 1099 from the mailbox and then use the SSN on it to file a fake 1040 and ask for a refund.
We never deal with the government without keeping copy of any transaction. Perhaps these “found” forms are the copies they kept until they received their benefits, and then were able to dispose of.
One more thing Trump needs to add to his, already miles long, to do list.
The IRS, the State Department and the EPA are the three alphabet agencies that need to be cleaned, IMHO, from top to bottom.
Donald spoke about agency collusion gumming up the works at his Ohio rally today. Had a disgusted look on his face.
Of course there are employers who skirt the law by hiring people without SS numbers and paying them under the table.
Our local Panera's restaurant that had at one time, lots of Hispanic folk, but put up a notice that they rely on EVerify, only one Hispanic left working at one Panera's closest to me, other two Panera's have NO Hispanics at all, even kitchens!
